Yep. Third time hauling them. But the other two times were in West Texas. Like $2.20 a mile. The loader was worried they wouldn't fit with the pin box on a '48. I said don't worry, I've hauled this exact config before. Love the load. Super easy strap and go.

Not looking forward to it, lol. But I'll let you guys know how it goes.

 

Did u go over one of those stupid bridges into pa that costs 20 bucks to drive over ? And it lasts about 100 feet ... nothing pisses me off more than paying tolls... it is a scam... i90 got me for 300 bucks in ny last time i was up there...

 

They're already spending the money they anticipate stealing from us.

Reminds me of a story...
Many years ago, we picked up a hand-held CB at a garage sale. The kids (all young at the time) enjoyed listening to the trucker banter on road trips. My son who was only 7 or 8, probably sounded like a girl when he talked on the radio cuz he would always get lots of “comebacks” from the dirty old truckers (yeah you know who you are)
Anyways, we were listening to these 2 guys talking back and forth once, and one kept referring to the other as “flatbed”
So my son asks me, “why is he calling him FLAP HEAD”
