If you’re going to run up that way I suggest you look into ez-pass.

PATurnpike.com wants $500 deposit, and then set up company. Then it's good for the whole NE. Is every state the same, or should I "shop around" with each state?

I figured you just go to the EZ Pass website, register, and get the transponder in the mail. Then it's good for everywhere. Apparently that's not the case.

 

Illinois I-pass is the way to go..... works anywhere ez pass is excepted.

It’s been four years since I was up that way. I think every state that has tolls up there has their own ezpass,but covers all states up there.
@Ruthless may know who has the best deal.

 

Why don't you go there anymore? Rates are crazy, but I'm getting the feeling I haven't realized something yet. Like there's a catch, if you know what I mean.

Oh. Well, I'm new. I ran Texas for almost six months lucky to get $2.50. Now five per mile is normal, and I never have to tarp. There's so much freight I get sick of scrolling and just pick something.
