I’ve deleted the screenshots, but somewhere in the truckload slide thread about this time last year I posted loads going for .70-90cpm.

Did you haul them? Or are we talking about trash that megas put up because they can't cover it? I mean was that "cheap freight", or was that pretty average? And how the hell did you all survive that? Jesus.
-
No... I sat on the couch for a couple months.
Nostalgic, cke, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
I don't blame you.

Depends exactly which state you run the most/ each state gives a bigger discount to in state ezpass vs other state ezpass.
I mean..... the catch is $5 a mile isn’t really the mind blowing number it could be unless you’re pushing long miles on it.
Lyndhurst to madbury nh for instance, @$1500 is decent if you reload back south for $800-1000. But with load and unload cutoff times and delays at shippers, you are almost better off getting stuff thats half the distance for about the same money n being able to turn the other half of it back south same day, then reload the northbound that afternoon.
Also, 17 north to 287 east adds some miles, but more than pays for itself in toll savings.4mer trucker, beastr123, 062 and 3 others Thank this. -
@062
I happened to look at this thread; i did not get a notification that you tagged me though/ sorry for the delayed response.062, cke and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
Good job driver. I never got the “flatbedders never back up” thing. I’ve unloaded in some of the most Goofy spots.
Tuesday I delivered a load of used aircraft tooling to a storage facility with a covered double drop.
A very old facility with scrap tooling everywhere (red x’s). I took the path of the black line, putting my trailer tires south of the mud puddle and my drives north of the puddle. Just washed my truck and didn’t want to get my tires muddy! Luckily the ground was still hard, it had just started raining.

Hopefully you’re stacking cash for when the rates drop.
This is one of the screenshots from last year.DeereRunner97, PoleCrusher, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this. -
I had the PrePass Elite which does weigh stations and every toll in the US. I had to put a $200 deposit up with PrePass for the tolls and then they would debit my account for the bill.Last edited: Apr 1, 2021
