They’re real fun in the winter when empty, or a muddy job site.

Yeah there's a couple other spots that are over besides the tires. The tire bulge is the most obvious though. I'm not sure if tire bulge on cargo counts if that's the only thing outside, maybe one of our more knowledgeable members knows.

Unless there is a specific exemption for tire bulge, I would just err on the side of caution and consider anything on the deck is defined as cargo.

Even if someone finds the tire bulge exemption, unless you are prepared to remember it and be able to point it out, it’s a matter of which Dudley Do-right is working that day and how much he knows, or thinks he knows.

Concrete forms and misc. Beeewwwlllshhhatttt lol, The four heaviest are the long beige ones on bottom about 16k, threw 5 straps on that, the two bigger beige ones are about 3500 each 5 straps because it is tall... The rest between 200 to 3500ish. Total weight around 35k

The orange rail pieces are all banded together but I didn’t trust them. Plus they laid two pieces across the top and that was a weak link so I threw two straps on middle rail to secure it and took two 2”rs and wrapped the rails together on top to hold them together tightly if the bands fail.

Great group of guys at this place from the head bossman on down. Teamwork and asking me every step of the way how I wanted it pieced on the deck. We used about all 53’... almost left the tarps at home and then thought... welll sometimes they are a great negotiating tool.

First place I've ever loaded at that wouldn't let me put 2 small pieces of dunnage together to make one long one. Had to purchase 2 long ones from them so I would have 12 total. They should be providing it anyhow. Then, they said I couldn't use my 4 foot pipe stakes, they require 2 foot stakes. WTF... so I had to buy these little dinky pipe stakes from them also... I have no clue why a load like this would require 2 foot pipe stakes, do you know? It wasn't a terrible place, just don't understand the logic. They do have a nice truckers break room, best I've seen so far. And with my $70 pipe stake/dunnage purchase I got $3 in "free" vending machine coupons LMFAO........

The guy making the rules is probably the guy making the short pipe stakes on the weekend.

Paragon, Sapulpa, OK? I made the broker pay for that crap. I hauled the "pipe stakes" around for a month or so before I figured they were pretty much worthless for anything else.
