Its more stable than most plastic pipe loads or double deck rolled roofing, easier to secure too.

 

Headed north from Texas, wish I had a couple red and white reels to match the blue for Memorial day.

If it’s all one size that definitely helps. The steel pipe I haul is usually 4” diameter or less, and usually each job will get different sizes, plus the other assorted junk that goes with the pipe (stakes, boxes of hardware, etc.). But like I mentioned earlier, the good part is I usually only have to deal with a few pieces at a time. And I do it all with the moffett. It really can be a pita when I have to pick up the unused pipe from the jobsite, when its all lose and tossed into a pile in the mud.

I cant believe someone would think that heavy machine is good for those tiny little ramps
