Guy put a deposit down on it last week. Supposed to be coming on Wednesday this week I guess?

 

So I sent my better half to Toronto to pickup a new to me flatdeck I happen to win at RB.

Been getting decent $3-4$ / mile PO loads all the way there and nooooooooow I see why. TOLLS ARE RIDICULOUS!

There has to be a better way.

Anyways, already booked a badda$$ load from MI to NE trying to get the truck back to ND.

There was a nice oversized front there back to ND but they wouldn’t wait till next week for me

 

another hot load of beaver biscuits to start the week. short week home for body shop. kenworth has an issue with their hood arms, warranty but still down time. to bad could do another one of these this week easy.

 

Easy load.

 

Some wind farm equipment. Mostly chains and a couple straps. Light load of about 27,500

 

My better 1/2 picked drove all the way to Toronto to pickup a new To us flatbed from RB, might as well make some coin heading back to ND!


On a side note, I booked a load of 12 tires ( 8x8 wide )

anyone have any pictures that when they’ve done oversized tires so I can make sure we strap them down good.

 

Had to dig for a minute but found one...

 

Took the boy with me for a quicky to Georgia and back. We were gone six days. He's 13. Said he likes looking out the window at the other truck drivers. "That guy had two cigarettes in his mouth!" I asked him out of every ten truckers, how many were messing around with their phone. "I'd say about four." he said.

By the last day, I'm explaining in a traffic jam how the trucks were taking the off ramp to the on ramp to try and cut in front of traffic, and we weren't going to let any of them in. He looked out his window and said: "Yep, and four of them are door slammers!" lmfao. Boy learns.
