I parked next to a guy hauling the culverts this morning for a few minutes and I really wish I’d snapped a picture. He had all of maybe 3 chains and a set across the top. Completely loose and nothing near as secure as how you did yours. Night and day difference and no way his would stick on the trailer in a hard brake or swerve.

Those PVC loads with those wooden cribs always make me nervous lol l see tons of guys hauling them so obviously they're safe enough. I'm always wondering" what if those cribs break?" Have fun and drive safe.

Then you get to express your creativity and learn new tricks to weave straps between pipe. As long as the loader staggers them so they're sitting on pipe and not the wood on the next bundle, they usually don't break. It's when they want to stack them and all the weight is on the little uprights that they break, or pop out and then everything gets loose. Of course if you tighten down too much and the pipe bunches inward, you can break the horizontal ones on top too. I've never had a problem with larger diameter conduit like that, it's the bundles of 1/2" and 3/4" that like to ride like onions that's the problem.

lol, I agree, I would not have taken this if it was the smaller stuff, And it’s all the same size. The forklift driver was pretty meticulous about how he loaded and I don’t murder it when I tighten it and that is the hardest part. Ive pulled off and checked 3 times and then when I stopped tonight and only had to take one notch up on two winches which surprised me.
