Log home kit?

 

Could you have put them together as one package?

 

It rode great for about half a mile out of the shipping yard, into the first corner and i seen the logs dissapear from my left mirror and show up in my right mirror and straps flailing in the wind. Thank god it wasnt the whole load or it wouldve rolled my truck over.

150 miles to destination , threw about 7 straps on it and it never moved again. Still scared the #### out if me though.

 

Yeah, u shouldve seen where they wanted this #### delivered... No way in hell i could even get up there bobtail.

 

Lol. Yes. I had the trailer originally setup for a single. After a couple hours someone finally showed up to load then said it was two coils. So I moved the first rack and setup a second rack. I failed to ask questions. He said the second coil weighed 11k while loading the first coil. I assumed it was a shorty. I assumed wrong. I thought about having him put it on a pallet but I wasn't sure if the receiver had a big enough forklift. I made it through crashville without incident.

 

I think they've told me ahead of time when they were skinny ones. Either that or it was covered by my 101 questions every time I load coils haha.

 

This place lost the account and we were hauling the coils to the new account. They weren't really forthcoming with much info. Either way it wasn't a big deal for me. The job got done.

 

Oof,,, don't go playing pickup sticks on us now.
