Lots of ats trucks out here in early summer/spring moving the windmill equipment up lookout pass/4th of July pass. I just dropped to 3rd gear and ran behind the pilot car . the cars and other slow trucks were trying to get around them in left lane. Creating the biggest cluster f ive ever seen.

it is tough - we want to let you around but there are not many safe places to do it. And 93 was all 2 lane with almost no shoulder and 30 mph curves.

That day sucked a lot - 320 miles in just about 11 hours of driving

No, as owner I do a bit of everything, but not retired. I have been golfing with a friend a lot more, so there is that.

Alright, I was running with the fan on. I guess that means it's running where it's supposed to be. Although even with it off, I wouldn't be able to hold the next gear.

I'll be past there by then.

Tug Toy, cke, FerrissWheel and 3 others Thank this.

Not bad for your truck imo. My last truck Paccar auto was about the same 425 hp pos. My truck now hasn’t been up there yet Will be this weekend. Came from Erie to SoCal. 75k. Took 40. 500 hp dd15 13spd. I killed 40  But not a real grade yet. But you were as good or better than a cheap new fleet paccar truck for sure :)
