This is my backhaul back to get some rocks only about a month left before all the jobsites shutdown for winter

 

Sure is one fancy jackhammer. Remote controlled, electric over hydraulic, that’s the shore power cable dragging behind it. They really didn’t want me to chain it down, but at 13k pounds I wasn’t going to just strap it like they wanted me to. I compromised and did both.

 

Yeah they really don’t bother giving you tiedown points do they…

 

In/out in under an hour!

 

There’s the cutouts in the stabilizers that I used. Perfect size for a hook, right where they need to be, but nit marked. The customer swore up and down the stabilizers would leak down if I used that spot. 140 miles later, no issues so far.

 

Would the customers who don't want chains used be alright with a piece of fire hose slipped over the chain? We haul new farm machinery for a dealer and we've done it that way. Never had a chain damage problem.

 

Got the flatbed back. First load since we rolled it. Didnt think it was gonna be salvageable . but we put 47k of rocks on top and it's pulling straight as an arrow and still has a arch.They replaced the 5th wheel plate, welded some spots on the rub rail, alignment, 4 new oil hubs and were rockin and Rollin.
