Pallet lumber… I been hunting a truck wash for days and everyone I pass has that long line.

 

You didn’t prop up the back bundle.

Dunnage underneath the very last one on back?

 

Grade stakes and bundles like it, generally you put a 4 x 4 underneath the rear of the rear unit, and the front of the front unit as opposed to the thinner dunnage provided. Keeps the inner pieces from walking out.

 

I’ve seen it done on the longer bundles but not on the short 4 foot bundles. I did cross strap the back like I did the front but that probably wouldn’t help keep it from walking out if it really wanted to. It is very green planks and still somewhat moist (yes I used moist) as they are literally cutting it and stacking it as they are loading a truck or two. Really small mill. Smells like Christmas there lol.

Will definitely look at doing the 4x4 if I haul it again. This is why I love this group. Appreciate the info!

 

I’m curious why they’re picking with an excavator when there’s a crane right there?

 

I’m 95% sure we passed each other going opposite directions on 287 just east of Memphis, TX today. I looked over and saw the track on the trailer and then the maroon truck. Either you or your twin lolol.
