I agree once they get batteries to a point of efficiency it will be revolutionary.
I run pretty much “local” 90+% of the year. My trucks average 60k miles a year tho; which means of the ~42ish weeks worth of work I end up doing; most days are quite a bit more than the current expected range.

I’m looking forward to electric being a viable option vs a “great idea” that gets shoved down our throats. I’m interested in innovation but not “this is the new way because it’s new”. I like upgrades and updates that are better not just more expensive if that explains me better.

When they put it in a flat glass I’ll see lol

Like banning incandescent light bulbs. Now that they are cheap and generally produce more light at less cost, I prefer LED in most cases. Just don't tell me I'm not allowed to use a 100 watt bulb in the chicken coop to keep frostbite off the combs.

Sometimes the only way accelerate the innovation necessary is to force a critical mass. The economic incentives then become the driving force - not popular but it works.

Energy storage will catch up fast - just like computing power growth was/is almost vertical and storage then caught up - remember punch cards to cassette tapes to floppy disks to optical to solid state

It’s good to finally be back at it, running from KY out to ID and WA - and if I-80 cooperates this will be a nice ride :).

Other than the constant pealing shrink rap that is…

Lol I don’t think I ever responded to you, sorry. I have a single leveler and use it maybe three times a year.
