When you go to file, it will have radial buttons or drop-down boxes for which quarter you want to file. If there's nothing there, you won't have to. It's really user friendly.

yes i am a member. but i wanted to file everything myself so i know what is involved with it. if i ever decided to have someone else do it, i will know what to look for incase they try to F me. it really wasn't that difficult, just a lot of paperwork and a bunch of hoops to jump thru over and over again. i got insurance thru progressive for 17k...1 mil and 100k... all the other quotes i got was between 20-25k... so went with progressive. hopefully after my first year it goes down a little bit. but so far so good with progressive @God prefers Diesels showed me how to send insurance certificates online which is a big help when filling out carrier packets.. only complaint about them so far, is if you have a question about something or need to change something on the policy, its like 40 minute wait on the phone to talk to someone.

What I was referring to, with the compliance, is they have the drug testing services also, to help keep you compliant as you can't do your own, and stuff like that.

Good to know you're a fellow member though. :)

yeah i signed up with a third party consortium called vertical identity for drug testing. they have an office here in phoenix. thought it would be better for me if i ever needed to go to their office for any reason.

As long as it works for you. If you don't mind my asking, what was the difference in price for you, as a Lease Op and now as an O/O with regards insurance. Ballbark is fine, I'm just curious since I haven't done either and would like to know what to save up for. :)

what do you mean difference in price? like how much money i will make in own authority vs o/o? or how much it cost ? honestly i think i will probably make less money going out on my own than i will leased on. atleast in the first year, and getting my grip back on the spot market. i think the cost is the same just that when i was leased on, the company did all the paperwork and just charged the amount it cost, to my monthly statement..maybe even cost more money because they charged fees for filing all that stuff... but between 4 months of insurance payments, and all the fees to be compliant ive spent around 12k and haven't even turned 1 mile yet... add the amount of money you dont make while sitting around. its pretty expensive.. luckily i dont have a house/rent payment or any kids or stuff like that. my truck is paid off.
