Kinda cool to get to say “hey” today on the toll road. Would’ve talked more but my good CB was at the repair shop and I lost you pretty quick with my POS backup radio.

Noticed your axle up. It seems like every time I put it up, I end up taking more two lane than I intended to. Then inevitably, I just curb the crap out of it. I hardly ever run with it up anymore. Just seems to be more of a pain than it's worth.....for me anyways.

    3. They're bagging mulch that's soaked from two weeks of rain, and can't understand why you're at 88k when they "always load that many pallets".

Ya. States like Pennsylvania it will stay down LOL.

You can wire a switch in the cab for it though. I believe you have to switch the 7way to a 4way. Something I've always wanted to do just never have.

Ought to put it on an electric switch in the cab so you can put it up or down as needed

eta @JonJon78 you don’t need to change the plug, just need to have ends that match what you have and make sure the correct wire goes to the correct pole.
I have the on 7 way plugs on my trailers.... never did end up wiring them in the trucks/

My truck is an example of that. I made my own aux pigtail. It's ABS at the truck, and ISO at the trailer. Two wires, and 12' of 1/2" heater hose.

I set up my step deck with the switch it the dash to dump the rears. Definitely helps. My #4 axle was showing some wear on the corners of the tires, I’m hoping this will slow that down. I just need to set up a chime, or better light on the switch, because at times I’ll forget to turn it off after a turn for a minute…

I don’t know the “how” but I do know that some newer trailers have a dump from the factory that works via the ABS- abs engages above like 3 or 5 mph and overrides the dump valve so air is resupplied.

Ok, I wasn't sure. Anything electrical is out of my league.

I'd rather have a blown tire than a blown fuse chasing an electrical problem. And that's the truth.
