Funny thing is that not even 30 mins before this the snow was coming down hard,.. wind blowing,.. almost white out conditions.

When I left that morning it was nice pretty much the whole way to Laramie. Stopped at the Shamrock for fuel and they had bags over all their pumps. $2.61 gal and I couldnt get none. The J had fuel for $2.69,.. but with $.12 RTS fuel discount,.. I ended up getting it cheaper from the J.

Finally cooked up 2 of those angus burgers, watched about 2 episodes of House of Cards on Netflix and I ended up falling a sleep after the 3rd. When I left Laramie the wind was houling,.. 40 - 50mph gusts and blowing snow. Icey pavement,.. it was worse from Laramie to Cheyenne then from SLC to Laramie.

I'm heading home with this load. Gotta get some minor BS fixed on this truck. Chip in the windshield is really bugging me. Oil leak is getting worse. Had to put a gallon in to get it back in the safe zone.

Talked to my mechanic. He said he can do the bottom end for $2500. I dont know what all is involved. Is that reasonable? I'd do it myself,.. but dont really have a place to do it. Still putting money away to pave my driveway and get a building pad poured for the work shop I want to build. Moneys been slow since I came out in Jan. Hopefully march goes better.

  7. The $2500 is not bad. It will help in the long run.

uploadfromtaptalk1425614908389.jpg found the pics uploadfromtaptalk1425615036682.jpg this is 960k

You know motors. Its worth changing. If you spin a main or Rod, youve scene what it does to cars. Now triple that head ache.

And look your saving fuel money already.

  8. Ohhhh. Ya. Post flatbed loads

OMG,.. you have any oil pressure at all?

What throws me off is my oil samples came back perfect. No smoke,.. and perfect oil pressure. I'd swear the motor has been rebuilt. But carrier says not since he had,.. he got it at 600k mi. Being a C15, I really doubt it had a rebuild before 600k unless something catastrophic happened.

Not sure I'd want to do a load of them on my deck though. Eew. LOL
