Nothing interesting to see here, just a driver with a flatbed trying to make a dollar. Headed from SC to MN…

Ran this from Durham NC to Houston. It wasn’t bad. Loaded Friday afternoon, parked it and bobtailed home. Left out Sunday.

Then you should be able to take a couple rolls of gaffers tape and do something with that.

I had one truck working at CPI in the mid ‘80’s. If it wasn’t doing tour work it was moving Frischkorns A/V gear doing trade shows and corporate gigs. My driver was an audio tech too, he could pull a per diem with the crews on top of what I paid him a lot of the time. That used to be good work back in the day, but Stagedoor and TrucknRoll and the rest of those loons have all the money beat out of it.

Yup, I was a musician, and started working as a tech. There were no drivers available all the time so i got my license, i could triple dip, driver, build the stage, turn i to an audio guy, then reverse on the out. I started my own production company, i worked for all the bigger east coast acts and TTE, doing audio and logistics. Truck and Roll took ALL the money out of touring.
I moved my tractor over to Clarke 2006 or 7. Most of my Tour Tech work went with me. I hauled their stage line around a lot.
    Was good times. SL320 3.jpg

Can be fun, or a nightmare. Depends on who you’re out with and what kind of venues. Rock and roll shows can turn into a train wreck pretty quick when the wildlife on the crew runs into a face full of iatse staff in the bigger places. Can dodge a lot of that in bars, even a list rooms, but they come with their own set of problems.
