My dedicated California pick up is on the front but I managed to pick up two extra partials go in the exact same way.
First pickup was supposed to be 16k lbs which why I put it so far forward, ended up being 22k and had to cancel an awesome paying partial which would have put me at 82k gross.
As you can see I did a great job tarping the rear load…..

Awning supplies… Tx - Fl
I forgot the secured pics but I used chains and straps, no tarps but I did secure them on to some shrink wrapped consumables to help hold them down. I’ve hauled these a number of times (different configurations) and I always try to be early because no telling what the job site will be like. Sometimes they already have concrete poured sometime loose sand and others like this where they rolled it and was pretty stable. The kicker is many times near residential areas and if you are to early and they are fenced there is literally no where to go. This one had three dump trucks running loads, 2 local equipment guys picking up equipment and a ton of activity. Fun stuff.
1 tiny drop in Panama City where the crew lead told I could swing by and unload it myself if I wanted to. The keys are in the forklift lolol. Well don’t mind if I do and save myself dicking around waiting.
The Rest went to Vero Beach. We all know freight sucks here and I just rolled up to Jax picking up a load to Fort Worth area. Must have seen 30 flatbeds empty heading north. I got paid good coming in ok coming out.

To be fair, when I got to the truck stop I threw it up too and rolled it out…. When it rolled off the trailer and kept going another 18 feet I said F this and checked the weather. Sunny all day today - I ripped it off and rolled it back up and threw it in my box.
Best $400 I’ve ever spent hahaha
Edit:
Delivered and no issues! That’s a win in my books.Last edited: Jun 21, 2022
