Ah the joys of taking a dry van load on a step, VA to good ole Fort Hood. Apparently they were willing to put some money on a load that required someone who could pass a background check lol. -
Kicked this one off today. Hope I don’t jinx myself, but should be done for week by lunchtime tomorrow
D.Tibbitt, Kyle G., God prefers Diesels and 7 others Thank this. -
How involved is that? Only trucks im seeing worth buying (for me) atm are daycabs (that were converted from sleepers) but I really dont want to try doing otr in a daycab -
I have my flatbed all fitted with securement gear and this trailer is a 2023 so when I picked it up I had all new gear shipped to the location that installed the kit. Verduyn Eagle kit for anyone wondering
But even on my flat the gear looks pretty new(ish) after years of use other than replacing straps and damaged or worn items here and there
But nothing gets wet unless it’s a little rain when loading -
W923, Oxbow, God prefers Diesels and 3 others Thank this. -
Here is my current load. I feel like this should be in the fails thread. This picture was taken BEFORE I threw 2 more belly straps. When I snapped the pic it was obvious the center one in the front would move. There’s 16 straps on this.
I have no idea how to secure stuff like pipe when they aren’t touching each other. I’m open to tips.
God prefers Diesels, cke, INRUT and 7 others Thank this.
