For those that tarp loads, how heavy are tarps? I don’t mean to be intruding on a good thread. I’m just very curious.

My 16x27 tarp that is a 4ft drop is a lightweight version and I can probably pick it up and throw it 10 feet. 50lbs or under I’d guess. A vinyl 4ft tarp probably 70 lbs?singlescrewshaker, Kyle G., cke and 3 others Thank this.

Depends on the material and style of tarp. Here's just two links for two tarps from one company,
24' x 27' Lumber Tarp with End Flap - this is 115 lbs
30' x 30' Machinery Tarp - this is 153 lbs.
Most other types and different material will likely be lighter, but as you can see, depending on the style of tarp the material it's made of, it can get quite heavy, and also quite pricy.singlescrewshaker, Ruthless, JonJon78 and 6 others Thank this. -
