Still home, since Feb 27th. Caught a cold/flu in NC last time I was down there, (sitting for 6 days) never really got over it. Shortness of breath just won't go away. Chestxray showed nothing, so I got a puffer. Tested clear for covid, home tests, which means nothing I'm told???
Ended up in emerg couple nights ago, couldn't breath for a while, then left leg started getting sore.
I have a LARGE "Saddle PE."
I didnt need supplemental oxygen and my vitals stayed good, zero damage to my heart which the doc said was remarkable for an old fat guy like me.
My doc always says I'm as healthy as a horse, just as big as one...
So...... I'm home now, have to give myself 2 needles a day in the belly for a couple weeks, then 6 months of oral blood thinners. Along with MANY coming appointments I'm sure at the "Thrombosis clinic".
    The Joy's of hitting 60.
At least I've picked a good time to be off. Lol.
I also learned not to google medical problems,
Dr Google will always give you worst case.
So as I will be bored I may hang out here a little/lot more... just a warning... lol

Yeah google will always make you freak the #### out

A little over a month ago I had that tightness on the right side of my chest. They 1st put me on azithromycin and a week later had a chest x-ray done and some blood work. Couldn't find anything at all wrong with me and a few weeks later it completely went away.

That's good, I've never had problems like this, part of growing old? Or covid? Or the shots? Who knows. Hopefully it clears up and I dont throw a clot anywhere it does damage in the process.
