Im the same way with red. One time a flatbed pulled into the yard to unload while i was busy getting something else loaded.it was a black and red long hood with a trailer painted to match, red frame and red winches. Told they guy i dont like red at all, but you did it right, looks nice. Hope he took the compliment as intended.

This sums up about every load I’ve done so far in 2023. I refuse to run my truck for some of the rates offered, and now even the direct customers who I have gave great service to are now asking can you beat this brokers Price. And to add I know the brokers price and it isn’t far from what I’d quote, I guess they are saving a couple hundred dollars so it makes them feel great. It all comes with the business I guess, what kills me most is so much idle time and seeing my net worth shrink. I always was a stubborn idiot, and I’m willing to bend, I just can’t bend as much as some need me to.

Someone correct me or not, when you run duals, aren’t they supposed to be at least 8’ apart ? I’m aware that the newer trucks are running them closer, either on top of the cab or on side of the cab ….. to get maximum performance among other nic nacs…..

Like I mentioned, to get the maximum out of your CB set up, when you run “Duals”, there supposed to be 8’ apart. But with today’s truck, it seems impossible. I run a single to avoid the headache and it will out perform any dual set up. If your set up works for you, your golden.
