Who are you trying to bluff ? Those pictures are the same load you’ve been hauling for the last month…….just different angles :D:p;). I’ve been hauling the same steel tubing pipe I posted on Wednesday, 2 loads a day and a preload. I didn’t want to post the same load even though it isn’t on here.. Weren’t you supposed to retired or go on vacation a month ago ? Seems trucking is in your blood and you just can’t cut ties…… Im right behind ya ;)

@Diesel Dave hahaha! i AM supposed to be retired! Still trying to figure out why I’m doing this. Just always enjoyed hauling steel. This guy made me a very handsome offer to drive a big fancy truck so it’s almost easy, although I do feel the aches and pains of my age every morning.

Here’s a pic of what I’m trying to put a dent in…there’s at least 6 more stacks like this. At only 2 beams per load, I got my work cut out for me…
Vacation? My wife and daughter are gonna be over in the White Mountains for 2 weeks in August so I might try to join them for a bit.
We’ll be back in Switzerland for most of September and already booked for the Caribbean in January…I don’t plan to drive in any more snow…I have another job running a snowplow ;) AC207F0C-48B5-4EA9-A67F-F8BB41EB0712.jpeg

@Diesel Dave that’s me in 1984, drove a R model for 14 years and as recently as last year when I first came out of retirement…although I told that guy I was gonna stay home if he tried to put me in that Mack again ;)
And my current ride…even makes an old man like me look good 6CC0F009-13DE-4FE1-AFCD-BBAFB1E0303D.jpeg 3E4AA93C-89AC-4B03-A2BB-917B6C4ECFA2.png

I’m only gonna post one picture today cuz Dave tipped everyone off that I was just taking different pictures of the same load ;)
Actually I only did one load this afternoon cuz it was raining this morning and I’m retired so I shouldn’t have to work in the rain… C22087E4-384F-4231-B813-55B1DBCA18BC.jpeg

How much rain did you get up that way? Orange county in Rockland County apparently got something like 8 inches in a couple hours.
The news said it’s gonna be classified as a disaster zone.
It’s been a disaster zone the 20 years I been going there..

@Ruthless I think we only got 2-3 inches. Some areas downstate got 5-7 inches and I think as much as 8-9. Train service between Albany and NYC Is suspended due to damaged tracks somewhere…
