First time for me... And they seem to be in disbelief when I tell them the return rate is gonna be more since now after tarping and untarping twice has given me a major migraine headache that I gotta go to the doctor 4....

No BS... and I gotta reschedule or cancel my reload... SMH

The shipper didn't De-magnetize the tubes, so that not my problem.

Never seen the receiver come out with a meter that checks that, until now....

BS that they’re refusing load for that. Must have lousy employees, they could demagnetize that whole load in no time. Only thing it causes is a little more arc blowback when welding.

I hadn't either. I've hauled lots of tubing loads too.

No, they literally came out with a meter and put it up to the tubes. According to the shipper if it isn't DE-magnitised, when they go to cut it, the tubes will have "no shavings/dust which creates havoc on the cutting machine...

I think it makes sense. They specifically ordered a all aluminum trailer and the guy even put the meter on my trailer just to show me, and the meter didn't move... As supposedly a trailer that's not all aluminum could be the cause of magnetism as the crain that loads it could be...

I didn’t think about the cutting part, that makes sense. I was only thinking about welding aspect.

They could still demagnetize it themselves, but they did pay for it. All works out as long as your compensated properly.

I agree but as the reciever said, this has been a constant issue with this shipper and they are tired of getting something they didn't order, unfortunately my load was the example made...

I get it, and can't blame them. I'd do the same, if I buy/order/or have a serviced performed that doesn't meet my standards or expectations. I'm sending it back as well....

Sadly that's what it takes sometimes to get stuff right.

Don't know how much 26k of tubing costs but in today's world I'd imagine, it's not cheap...
