The kid got in and out of Florida with the 53’ step without getting stopped eve though he got the permit for the spread. Whoever had this trailer before had butchered the plumbing so he physically can’t slide it. He was supposed to get a multi drop tractor load out of Savanna but ended up with these instead

Thats top secret...they don't know it slides, heck they don't even know what a 5th wheel is....doesn't a truck have 18?

anyways we told you not to carry 1/2 inch chain we knew you'd be overweight, dumb truck drivers.

we do large machinery and the above statement was a true statement. not the load was booked for a 65klbs piece not the 75k that it really is.

Inside this tube I have a one inch diameter pole with a tiny chain run through it, with a loop at either end. Insert pole, hook chains to the chain loop, yank it through. My own invention LOL.

That happened to me last year. My guages told me I was over. No one believed me. Shipper or broker. They came out and re scanned all the tags. And told me “no way”.

I went and scales and I was 12k over. They did pay me for my time but what a pain in the ###. Yes it was tarped plate also. And raining. Took them longer to “figure out” what to take off me than the whole rest of the operation.

    What a cluster!!!
    That’s a #### nice tarp job though.

I also made an extendable painters pole with a small chain on the end I use to pull chains…the pole is a solid solution as well
