Post flatbed load photos here V2.0

I was watching Ice Road Truckers a while back…yeah I know…
One of the girls had a load bar a little longer than normal and she would wrap her legs around it and hang off of it(!!)

 

I’ve seen two guys doing that. One at a steel yard out in Memphis and once at Gerdau in cartersville Georgia.

 

I’d watch it just to hate on it. The very first ones weren’t terrible and was interesting learning about the actual ice roads. I liked that Alex Debogorski guy.

 

I bet he still banged on the strap to make sure it was tight.

 

And said “that aint goin nowhere now”.

 

Come on, give him a break...he's using all the muscle he has....his backside. He doesn't look fit enough to use arm, back or shoulder muscles.

I knew a fellow that ended up in emergency and got Stitches in the face for doing this similar thing with a tire iron trying to remove the lug nuts on a trailer. Go figure…..

 

At least he changed his flip flops to get out and tie down the load

 

I broke the tip off my bar once and ended up right on the ground. To be fair I probably didn’t have it all the way into the winch

 

Kinda looks like the has the bar under center too? So it could easily roll on him as well. I have on occasion used one foot / leg on my bar but always keep on foot on the ground and one hand on the rail.
Had on break the tip off using my hands once. I ended up on the ground with nothing but my pride hurt.
