Wasn’t sure about all straps a la @booley so I took an idea from @Diesel Dave and used some chains.
Been a while since I slung 3/8’s at all; and I never had to go up and over before with them before either lol

 

I haven't thrown a tarp in over a month. The streak may end next week, pending weather.

 

Here’s a load similar to that video clip where they one truck lost the counter weights and boom. This load is Chained and strapped. 1 of 2 today.

 

Load number 2. Good thing I’m on paper log.

 

Took some bar joists to Connecticut came back and swapped trailers then picked up some beams

 

Ya it's a little tough throwing 3/8's around. I had to go dig up my old 5/16's when l was hauling concrete pipe. All the cool concrete hauling veteran guys had that 1/4" herc-alloy chain for throwing over 8' pipe etc.

 

Man you always got some great insight! Thank you I’m gonna look into that!
