You flying in direct, touring, car hiring, campervan hiring, visiting connected countries, or is there a place in the States called Switzerland?
(Seems that you have adopted almost everywhere in Europe for your names. ;):))

@Spardo we fly direct to either Zurich or Geneva mostly from JFK but also have gone out of Logan in Boston. Then we take the train to Zermatt

Ah, a skier, not a sightseer then. My only experience of Swiss was travelling through and trying to avoid a pull because they had lower weight limits than all the surrounding countries. But a load of shoes out of Italy didn't weigh much so it was a good short cut into France and then home.

    Have a good'un mate. :)

BTW there used to be a haulage company there, maybe still is, who were the European agents for Kenworth and many of their trucks were KWs too. When Paccar took over Foden, they started distributing them in Europe and, again, had several of those on their fleet. Last time I saw them they were heavy hauling with IVECOs (FIATS) and Mercs.

Can't remember the name, but this is their logo, you might spot one, but I doubt it is a KW these days ;) Edit: Just remembered, Frederici.

We are just hikers, not skiers. We usually go in September, the ski teams are skiing at the higher elevations. We like to just wander around the Zermatt area. The only vehicles allowed are mostly electric.
I did spot this outfit last year… IMG_0244.png
