Booley, I reckon that, like me, you managed to get the best retirement in the world. Doing what you love, making a quid along the way, but probably content in the knowledge that you don't have to.
With you it is your regular flat loads, with me it was dogs, but I continued to criss cross my continent until the moment came when I could say, enough.
More power to your elbow mate. :)

Nice to be back at it after a 3 month hiatus - though if pressed I might admit to missing my bed :biggrin_255:

Welcome back! If my math is correct you made it back in just 10 weeks?
I’ve ruptured both quads and the first time the doctor wouldn’t release me for 12 weeks. Second time I got an infection so I was out for 16 weeks.
Hope you followed through with all your PT. How’s your range of motion? Did you cry (like I did) when they stretched your leg?

I’m just entering my 11th week and I was very fortunate to have a better than typical recovery. My initial bend was 62 degrees and I’m currently at 130. Actually I really enjoyed being able to bend the leg after being in the brace, those were difficult days.

Yeah I followed through on all of my PT and still have plenty to do while I’m out, lots of squats and work with leg weights are in my future. I’m able to walk up to 3 miles without issue but I’m still only maintaining a 22 min pace so there’s work to do there.

Just starting out slow because yes another month would have been nice but the bank account said otherwise. No tarpping for the foreseeable future until I get stronger and then I’m for sure not going over 6 foot drops - I’ll buy my own if I need to.

The doc also reminded me no jumping off the trailer as I do have a left side that has not been repaired and as nice a guy as he is, I can forgo another surgery lol.
