How many escort cars this load requires? I heard that in NY to cross a bridge with over size load you need to book a police car and pay them to escort you over bridges - is it true?

 

That load had 1 car in NY but none required in NJ. The longer beams I had the other day needed 2 cars in NY and 1 in NJ. Our weight is legal so no police required. The big heavy “super loads” require police and sometimes they have to cross the bridges real slow…

 

What happened to the half fenders

 

that one had full fenders


large customer came out with a new product that is taller, removed fenders and dropped the fifth wheel stand to keep overall heighth lower- fifth wheel plate was 1/2” higher than the fenders top side.
