When I'm not running empty across the country or pulling vans for free, I do occasionally find paying work. This was a new one. I put in a request for a giant disc brake and caliper when they break them down. I was going to ask for a sprocket too, but really struggled to come up with contraption that would use it. Monster go-kart?

@Oxbow this would be a great example for what would be perfect for that straight job with a steerable lift/ 45k, 24’ & a lotta dwell time in a place with $1000 bus lane violations n not a lot of room to post up and wait offsite/ then bounce to brooklyn and grab 8 4x8 units 4’ tall and come back here to deliver. Less tolls, more room to get situated, less wasted space/time/effort/fuel

 

Indeed. That's how to keep making the big bucks, just a bit easier. Bus lane violations..........I don't believe we have that here.

 

Fencing anyone…you know times are tight when we haul this stuff lol. Actually a decent weekend trip from TX to KY…

 

Busting out the chains for a strap load. Winches just don’t line up. It’s all good, just another day in paradise.
