I saw the pic of the puppy. Broke me up.
This is why they don't require head boards or headache racks anymore. They did a study with a 20mph head on and the load went right through both. He hit at 65 from what I read and it's just ripped the chains off the trailer.ReeferOhio Thanks this. -
What gets me in the photos the truck that was rear ended is still on the highway. The trooper says in one of the videos the coil truck was following to close, obviously, but he hit that truck full steam how slow was the reefer going in the slow lane and not on the shoulder? If you have mechanical issues get the truck on the shoulder and then start braking. I'm not so sure this all the coil trucks fault, yes he hit him I get that but the reefer is still on the highway! I see drivers do it all the time brake hard on the highway before jumping on the shoulder with no warning. IMO.

If I'm hauling a coil, steel or anything that doesn't do well on a hard stop I'm way back when it comes to hills, lights or other traffic.
You a hockey fan Reefer?CanadianVaquero Thanks this. -
I go to Cyclones games here in cincy, but I wouldn't call myself a huge fan.

I grew up in Leominster, Mass. Maurice "Rocket" Richard lived near me. Many Canadian French lived in my neighborhood. They built probably 80% of all the houses. I hated hockey but if I didn't play, I had to play with myself. We had a swamp out in the woods with clumps of grass sticking out of the ice. Made it interesting.
Rocket's son would play and his father and all the others would come out once in a while, build a fire, drink beer and watch us. It was a good time.ReeferOhio Thanks this. -
This photo crap with this new layout is annoying. What app do you guys use to resize?
Kujo and skootertrashr6 Thank this. -
After dropping the bridge abutment yesterday I went back to the plant and loaded these bridge beam forms to take them to another yard. They are building a 140' beam and the plant I picked them up at you can not get that long of a beam to the interstate.
Then I went and loaded a trailer for delivery Tuesday. Yep we are off for the weekend and holiday.
