Your buddy is right. Just keep her wound tight. I really think that down speeding and riding around at 1100 rpm is not good for them. Plus they pull like crap at low rpms.

 

Fortunately we only have good drivers in the Midwest! He did have 2 cop cars escorting/chasing from the other side of the highway. I went 30 years without seeing a wrong way driver close up and have seen 3 in the last 7 years, 2 this year. I didn’t move left because I had an 18 beside me and slowed as quickly as I could safely with another 18 immediately behind me. I posted the video but only a still shot came up.

 

Haven’t had any issues after I dropped 10k on the DOC and DPF back in February. Just been running hard as @ElmerFudpucker said.

 

I swear ever since the pandemic peoples driving skills have reached a new low... the one and only wrong way I've ever seen was out on i-40 outside Tucumcari NM a couple years back about midnight, went to pass a truck as soon as I hit the hammer lane I seen nothing but headlights.. about #### myself

5.5 hours yesterday to load 2 loads in the motor wagon isn’t my favorite thing to do.

 

Front plate bracket going on in the morning, gonna pick her up and see if I can get her on a scale tomorrow afternoon. Gonna be getting a visor for her in the near future.
