Not use to seeing those in the West Coast, is that to plug in a portable heater when your Cab heater can’t keep up ?

 

Are you going on vacation to a warm place(Islands)or more snow like Switzerland ? Have fun and enjoy, your time away.

 

It's just a 20amp plug. Buy any extension cord and cut the end off it. Replace with a new plug. I had to do it when I got my T880 that had those stupid things.

It runs the block heater/ this truck also has an oil pan heater that runs off the same plug.
Keeps your fluids from being too thick to wanna turn over when the ambient temp is low.

Made the mistake of washing the truck and trailer Wed afternoon. Went up by Wausa, WI and came back home with a white truck and trailer.

 

I understand, the "part time" work, pays for the vacations.

 

Nothing like pulling tarps and all that salt blowing into your face.
