    what kinda flatbed loads & what kinda stuff you gotta have for loads out of the greater greensboro area v boards, tarps, chains etc?
    like is that a steel coil area, machinery, poles etc
    Ideally going to or near nyc

    This one went to Logan Aluminum, Russellville Ky, and yes, there is an awful lot of TMC, Jaro, and PWT trucks in there.

    And here I am , all they give us is 8fters and I don't think I tarped a load yet that really needed them. :D

    Don't feel bad, 8'ers is all I own, I'm cheap and have used them for everything 4'ers woulda worked on a lot better

    Dude! 4 footers are cheap and so much easier. At least split the difference and get 6. Most loads that require 8’ aren’t worth a crap anyway

    Yeah, when I was first starting out, I wanted one product that would cover all, and just like d.tibbitt I worked for a place that only supplied 8'ers to start with 25 years ago, and have never actually carried 4'ers in my whole entire flatbedding life, so whole I would like something besides 8'ers, I just stick with them until they are so wretched that I can't use them. Then I will prob get. Set of 4'ers and 8'ers

    I use either 8 footers or 4 footers mostly. We have 6 footers but no one uses them much.
