Thats heavy of a 330 base machine. I have used 330 and 345 CATs for years doing pipe work in construction. I never knew the 330 was that heavy,.. I always felt it was a good medium sized excavator.

Whats the difference between 330 and 336? Longer stick/larger bucket? Larger counterweight to compensate?

EDIT:
Just looked up the specs.

Both use the same C9 ACCERT, same stick and base.
Main difference is the 336 has more HP and stronger hydraulics. Also the tracks are 100mm wider than the 330. Other than that they are the same machine.

Operating weights,.. the 336 is 2500 kg heavier.
