    Used to haul them out of a Nucor plant. If they bundle them the same way, they are banded in sets, built into a layer, then stacked and banded together. Two fork lifts pick the whole thing, set on trailer. They are pretty stable. Usually did add some belly chains.

    I believe @Tug Toy had a big load shift hauling these and learned both layers need straps.

    Yes. I've hauled several loads of those. The very first one I had the bottom layer leaned right and the top leaned left. Had the bands broke it would have been a mess. On the road and in my shorts!

    I have since started using straps hooked on the product where the 2 layers meet and pulling down to the opposite rail. One from both sides. That does a really good job of keeping them from trying to lean. And the places I load also require belly straps on the first layer. Combined, things stay put.

    I never noticed that to much. I guess it wouldn't hurt at all.
    the sketchy part about them is they like to shift forward. Even when u got them cinched down super tight. Almost always got straps on both layers and chains pulling back.
    I been behind all day so I just threw some over the top to get down the road and I'll fix it up nice in the morning

    About maxed out for this combination. Almost 89,000 in the trailer, 119,000 ish gross.
