I truly hope you didn’t get yours from the mountains of PA like I did lol. Yeah “secure” is not the word I’d use for those loads…
-
Used to haul alot of those when I was in Montana ... had the same thought as you.. never liked hauling those type of flat stone.. luckily ours only went 200 miles or so. seemed like I broke the crate everytime I barely tightened it on the winch

This came from the mountains of east Tennessee.

Every time you go around a corner you have one eye on the mirror to see if anything moves.

First for me.. from one of our customers in central valley cali
-
I thought it would be heavier. Only about 40k payload
-
That’s neat!
What kind of wood?
How did they load it?
Cool sideboards.
-
Out in this part of cali is where the majority of the countries nuts are grown.. almonds, walnuts, pistachios etc. I think that's what this wood is. Leftovers of those trees but I could be wrong..
Loaded at a family run farm, think this was just a side business for them. 1 guy built the sidekit then dumped a front loader bucket of logs then stacked it all up.. I just dropped my empty trailer and hooked to this one and hit the road.
