Had to deliver a load of that stuff to my boss’s house about 25 years ago. The pallets were open on 2 sides. No shrink wrap or wire mesh and NO STRAPS. I only had chains and ratchet binders. Fortunately I only had to go about 30 miles…good times!

Reminds me of hauling loose pallets of apple wood out of Washington state to Texas for Speciality BBQ. It was nearly impossible to strap. It was falling down everywhere. So eventually we had to tarp all the loads just to contain it. Which was a royal pain.
