Not sure where to post this, not really a flatbed but not a door swinger either.

    68' long X 109 1/2" wide 3/4 conestoga-1/4 hard shell kinda RGN type thing.

Due to confidentiality I can't show you what's inside. It's specially built to haul one thing only which is loaded/unloaded with an overhead crane. But yes, the tarps roll completely onto the neck then the neck comes off like any RGN to get out of the way for loading/unloading.

We've actually had this trailer for 3 years but after it's first maiden voyage it has sat till now waiting to be redesigned. It's now on it's second maiden voyage but now Alabama says that it absolutely will not enter their state. So as far as I know it's still sitting at the customer loaded till they find another route and this is supposed to make around trip every 10 days.

Why the heck not? The product? Just don't like the configuration?

The configuration of the trailer. It's my understanding they don't like the fact it's wide. Only 1 1/2" wider than a regular conestoga and the width is just the latches that hold the upper half of the rear on which stick out 2 3/4" off the sides.

That makes no sense. I regularly see 12,14 and 16 wide manufactured homes moving. As well as some of those 10 wide lowboys. I live there and I still SMH at some of their BS.

I'm on my way through there tomorrow with a 16' wide exactly the same length. Their hang up as I understand is because the trailer is that width not the load.

Yeah makes no sense at all if nothing else would think they would sell you a 110" permit which would have to be cheaper than routing around the state. Sometimes the "smart folks" are plan stupid. :)

Someone asked me to quote power only for a double drop Connie 14.5' tall x 10' wide @85k the other day. Sent me a pic of it, looked much uglier than that one @catalinaflyer
