If I had to pull a tank with no baffles much I'd look for a job flipping burgers. It would hit so hard I thought the driveline was gonna break. I've pulled them before but it took me a minute to get the timing down. That why I pulled it , the truck was down and my boss said no way we're towing it as one unit. It could have broken lose from a wrecker . Only took it about 40 miles

I love em. If you don’t dump the clutch they don’t slosh that bad. Just saying …Tug Toy, Kyle G., exhausted379 and 6 others Thank this.

40 years ago I road tested for one of the big cryogenic transport companies. Passed the road test but blew the interview. Then I started flatbedding…but I’ll always remember that stuff sloshing around…Speedy356, Kyle G., exhausted379 and 7 others Thank this.

I thought all liquid tankers had baffles, but what do I know, one of the few things I have never driven, but I can imagine what it feels like. My tanker experience has been with powders, and not tippers but bottom feeders thank goodness.

I have driver those thermal bottles with out baffles hauling different compress gas, propane, butane, natural gas. You can definitely feel the sloshing around.

Most tanks over here don’t have baffles. It’s too difficult to clean. Especially if you haul all different kinds of chemicals.
-
I pulled them for about 4 or 5 years. If I ever went back as a company driver it would be pulling liquid
