This place looks familar, but I can't place it. Been about 11 years since I was running Texas regular...seems I've seen it maybe on 287 or I-20, maybe 75...can't be sure.

 

Yeah, forgot about that. I-10 maybe, too. A lot of abandoned stations along there.

 

Yes but....I remember the first time I was in the City of London, that's just the square mile right in the centre, with a semi. There was one corner I just couldn't make, way too tight. I doubt I could even drag the pavement (sidewalk) but that was academic because they had sunk a solid concrete bollard on the edge of the road, just to make sure.

I had to reverse around 400 yards against busy city traffic, in the days with no power steering and only little mirrors (I soon bought my own, larger ones, but there was alot of vibration), 'till I could use a turn I could make, then circle round a wide area to get where I was going, all the time trying to read a paperback street map.
