An acquaintance of mine about an hour away has a fab shop.
He’s really good at turning my measurements and drawings into parts.
I’ll bet it didn’t take us 15 minutes to make both those crossmembers. Cut them out on his small plasma table, and bent them in a pinch press.
All the pieces for the fifth wheel plate, risers, and upper shock mounts took us about 4 hours to draw up and cut out.

 

I guess things are a lot easier when you know what you are doing lol

 

I kind of figured that's what you did to get those parts done so fast...but wasn't going to accuse you of using technology.

2” stroke air cylinder to fool the leveling valve for over inflate.
I might switch to a 3” stroke.
Dumped
Normal ride height
Overinflated
It puts em right down there when you dump the air.
Yes, it still needs washed.

 

That air cylinder is quite the good idea.

I seen a truck that looked a lot like yours today, but I didn’t think you’d be up by the Maine border in Gorham New Hampshire. It wasn’t quite as nice as yours either.
