Easy friday. Loaded right there, backed it in the building and got unloaded.

Customer that calls me at 6am on a Sunday for a last minute change of plans and I'm happy to take the call. I don't gouge on rates and he doesn't pinch pennies. If he needs something quick, he's paid me to DH for it instead of brokering it out, and I've bounced 600+ miles on my dime to help him too. Round trip rates aren't rare, and yes, he's getting a padded Christmas card this year.

Yeah, you have to make sure you aren't transporting invasive species...they didn't pay for the ride, so they have to stay at home.

 

Dropped that load of plywood in yard for the local guys to deliver monday morning, they picked me up a load of tubing yesterday to take to new mexico monday morning.. 3500 miles this week, 5 and a half days, still got 10 hrs on the 70 and home for a 34.. I wish trucking worked this well every week.
