Most employers nowadays have ridiculous safety regulations and if that forklift operator doesn’t put on his seatbelt then some other egghead is gonna raise heck with him and write him up

Always funny when i go to a place that actually wants you to stand there and watch them load, dont even need a hard hat. Usually in and out of those places fairly quick
Think i got ptsd from all the times ive been yelled at for even thinking about getting out of my truck without full ppe head to toe. Gets a bit ridiculous after awhile. Just the other day now i need a chin strap on my hard hat. Never heard that one before.
Some places even want you to wear it when u go to check in, i guess for when u get dive bombed by a goose on your stroll to the office, your head will be protected and brains intactOldeSkool, cke, broke down plumber and 9 others Thank this. -
Every fuel rack around Portland and Vancouver make us wear them while loading and unloading. Guess something may come out of the sky at us?

I guess nucor opened up a insulation warehouse right next door to the joist and cold finish plant in brigham city.. first time loading here. 5 star review. They provide corner protectors and also put your tarps up for you. I was last of the 3 trucks loading for this job my company is doing so i got the easy load. The others are stacked 2 high and full deck..i might as well be empty. The weight doesnt even register in my drive scales

Hate when that happens.
