You can leave the B 61 at my gate if you like. My first introduction to American trucks, in Australia, and chased by 3 trailers full of cows.
When I asked for a job the Boss said (I thought) have you driven a twin steer? What I discovered when I climbed aboard was that his unique way of copying my native language was 'have you driven a twin stick?'

How hard can it be, got 2 hands haven't I, and an elbow to manage the wheel? upload_2025-8-7_17-0-39.png
    Job done. ;-)

Found out later during the day, the carrier bought a batch of brand new trailer(10) a few years ago, came brand new everything, even the tires were new BUT, the casing were older but virgin rubber, I looked at the manufacturer code and as of this year, the casing were from 2015 and 2017, the trailers are 2023’s. They pulled a fast one.

Monday back to hauling the Oversized 10’ wide pipe loads (3 a day). Monday thru Thursday. Today was a legal load with all the tire issues o_O to San Diego, but the day and week is over, time to chill.
