Hate it when that happens. Is that stuff kiln dried or is it just the nature of the beast?

It was kiln-dried. It's the first time hauling southern yellow pine, and I didn't realize how slippery the boards are. They have a waxy texture.

Two old tricks I've used are to put an extra 2X4 sticker on the front and rear units so they're inclined towards the center of the trailer, and/or throw an extra strap at the very end of the unit.
