Thought had occurred to me: it's casual work.. Guess I'd be willing to chase more work for it if I hand a good hand to run it......

So I get this call for a pickup 20' long going to the northwest. Thinking its a container.

No weight just hey pick this up.

Turns into a generator 34k

 

The forklift looks like it might have been close to its limit?? Kalmar 40K?

 

He was slow rolling and then to have that crane pick one side at a time.

 

Why did you set that 34k generator so far back on the trailer?

 

I was afraid to ask but I was wondering the same thing.

 

I've had to load a few gensets and electric motors like that. Main reason is at the delivery you have to back into a bldg to offload with an overhead crane and you can only back in part way.
