More off the same. To far to south though, ended up in Rochester, Mn in the mud. l1.jpg
Caught a ore boat just right going over the high bridge in Duluth, Mn. l3.jpg
    Crossing Rainy Lake in Ontario
Ahhh the temp drops 20 degrees every time. If anyone finds a black plastic 1/4 fender on highway 11 hang it on a rock so I don't hit the same **** hole the 10th time. l2.jpg

skootertrashr6, MJ1657 and truckdad Thank this.
  4. At received they are limited on space, as well as reach. So request from shipper to place as far back as possible.

When I was a kid we used to go up there and watch the boats come in. Great memories.

Been hauling hay in Kansas, and it is a nice state. But once back in Colorado I just had to take this pic, with the mountains in the background, and share it with you guys. It's in the next post for you.

359 Pete and John Deere. Me likes. Judging by the windrow I would guess a 9600 Deere did the combining.

I've always enjoyed your posts, Old Iron, and I have to say that your knowledge still surprises me from time to time.

A person who can look at a windrow, in a picture taken from a cheap phone, and can identify the Combine that cut the field... pretty cool.

It's always better to be lucky than good.:D
I'm sitting here supposedly doing my 2nd quarter fuel tax report. Due on Friday. I just can't bring myself to get at it. To many interesting things on here and on the truck paper. I had orders from the wife to get started on her new deck today. :( Got 30 more minutes before she's home then have to hide somewhere till dark.;)

tsavory, truckon, exhausted379 and 3 others Thank this.

This old (84) KW has more lives than a cat. Last week tuesday the turbo shaft broke while under a full load (30 psi manifold pressure) & it sounded like I blew a tire. The white smoke filled the cab and the countryside for 500'. 3-4 gallons of oil got sucked into the cylinders & it would not turn over. I figgered I blew a piston. I could see an upgrade to something at least built in the 21st century. Nope. Just a used turbo & back to work. Dang. Just came 6 miles out of a river canyon from the little community of Washington in the Sierra Nevada foothills headed for S. Sacramento. IMG_0682.JPG
