On the Lexions, we load them a few inches off to the passenger side to balance the weight a little better.

Is it the auger that makes them heavier on that side? Or is there some internal machinery that causes that? -

We have one of those dang yellow combines and I'd say it's just the auger. Well mostly the auger. There are more big variable speed drives on that side as well. But the fuel tank is one the opposite side but I'm sure that's near empty from the factory

I wasn't sure I had used enough straps, including the chain for anti-forward. So I through the pipe stakes up for good measure.
The riggers told me the last guy threw 6 straps and hit the road, so I shouldn't be working so hard.CanadianVaquero, passingthru69, peterbilt_2005 and 3 others Thank this. -

Have things changed just in the last couple years? Seems like any time I started pulling for a new outfit, you had to take their securement class. Didn't matter if you were a green rookie or an experienced hand, you took a fresh securement class any time you changed companies.
Has that changed?
