On the Lexions, we load them a few inches off to the passenger side to balance the weight a little better.

We have dropped trailers, so most are preloaded. Also, they ship with no wheels on. To unload they put wheels on, detach the neck and drive them off. THe inside of the tires just barely clear the rubrail on each side. If they were off centered, I don't think we could unload.

Is it the auger that makes them heavier on that side? Or is there some internal machinery that causes that?

I wasn't looking out for him, I couldn't have cared less about him. What I was looking out for was OUR freight on his trailer.

We have one of those dang yellow combines and I'd say it's just the auger. Well mostly the auger. There are more big variable speed drives on that side as well. But the fuel tank is one the opposite side but I'm sure that's near empty from the factory

I wasn't sure I had used enough straps, including the chain for anti-forward. So I through the pipe stakes up for good measure.

The riggers told me the last guy threw 6 straps and hit the road, so I shouldn't be working so hard.

I didn't take it, a buddy sent it to me. I have no idea where this happened. You can tell tho that the driver was moving forward by the tire marks in the dirt. I've heard of this happening when back up and turning too tight, but never moving forward.

Have things changed just in the last couple years? Seems like any time I started pulling for a new outfit, you had to take their securement class. Didn't matter if you were a green rookie or an experienced hand, you took a fresh securement class any time you changed companies.

    Has that changed?
