I had a tarp job that nice once. It was my first one ever too. Nevermind the random experienced driver that taught/helped me.

Now that there ladies and gentlemen is a tarping job. It makes me ashamed to look out the back window at my friday p.m. job. If i was a scale weigh-master and that truck and load rolled in I wouldn't wast my time checking him out.

Actually 6 axles are down in Ontario, It's the 7th axles on the trailers that are up in Ontario, they have the 7th axle for going into Michigan since Michigan requires more axles then we do here... But I guess you have noticed, most trailers on the road here are 5 axles with steer axles... The only ones I see with 7 axles are mostly some B-trains 4 on front trailer and 3 on rear trailer, and garbage trucks that are going to the US

Tarps pulled so tight to the trailer it lifted the front axle off the ground. #### impressive.

Well final count at delivery lost 2 partial bricks from the bottom row where there was no shrink wrap. Gunna put my smoke tarps on the sides from now on.:(

I've seen 6 axles down in Ontario (1-1-4's?) but our 6 axle trailers are 1-4-1's. The first in the group of four is a lift and it is only used in MI.

My most dangerous load so far. I don't think I'll haul it in a pyramid again. I think it's vibrating backwards on me. I think next time I'll do 4 layers and belly wrap every 2 layers. I just went along with how everyone else was hauling them on this one.

I don't remember who but I think it was @Hurst who said they wouldn't haul pipe in a pyramid. I would like to hear others opinions on this. 20150825_141827.jpg

I've hauled drill pipe like that out of TX a couple times and never had any trouble.

If your straps are tight I'd be surprised if its moving. Take a measurement and check it on your next stop.

Nice job on the number of straps you have on it.

static06, tsavory and macavoy Thank this.
